The Path to a Sustainable Future: Our Strategy

How does this environmental commitment work? Every time we receive an order, we use a special formula to calculate estimated shipping emissions. Based on these calculations, we allocate a portion of our income to companies specializing in carbon removal, previously evaluated by Carbon Direct scientists. These companies use these funds to offset the amount of carbon emitted by our shipments. Additionally, any surplus is invested in the continued development of carbon removal technologies.

Heirloom : Its direct air capture technology improves the carbon mineralization process. Instead of using energy-intensive fans to extract air, Heirloom technology speeds up the process by which natural minerals capture CO₂.

Remora : This company captures CO₂ directly from the tailpipes of trucks while they are in motion, storing this gas for long-term storage.

Charm : Using plant waste, Charm captures CO₂ and converts it into a stable, carbon-rich liquid, which is stored safely underground, away from the reach of wildfires and soil erosion.
